My Vday 2010…

How was your Vday celebration guys? Hope you all had fun and your day was filled with love. Mine was so amazing. Hubby and I exchanged Vday cards like we always do every year. Two of us should really have cards for every occasion. It’s a must. Furthermore, we ate out at the restaurant where my hubby works. We didn’t pay anything but we tipped out about 40 bucks. It sounds like a huge tip but that’s how it should be cos like I said we didn’t pay anything. We did some shopping at Borders and Bestbuy too but the most romantic part of my vday was when hubby played my fave instrumental song, Canon in C from the movie ‘My Sassy girl’ in guitar version (check out the video of him below). He played it so well that made me feel giddy I have this indescribable feeling when someone plays a song for me. I find it so sweet. Not only that, the next day he gave me a pocket HD camcorder which I’ve been wanting for a longest time. Obviously, I love to take videos of my kids and also during special days like birthdays. We never had a handy-cam eversince so it’s a perfect gift for me. Thank you so much Luvski for being so extra sweet to me The pocket camcorder is great stuff. I will talk about it in my gadget blog and will write a little review as well

Pacquiao vs Cotto – Good Quality Video replay

I wasn’t satisfied with the quality of the Pacquiao vs Cotto fight free streaming online I’ve watched a while ago so here I am again looking for a good quality replay of the said event. I’ve been searching it for an hour now waiting for someone to upload some good quality videos of Manny’s fight. Thank god I’ve found one user in youtube before the bed bugs bite me lol. I’m sharing it directly here in my website for people who missed the fight. Have fun before youtube deletes them for copyright infringement. Oh by the way, its not complete yet. I think the owner is still uploading all the videos. Much better to do is search and follow this user etc1819 on youtube. Have fun!

Busy week ahead, lots of shopping for winter clothes and shoes. It’s also me and my hubby’s 9 years anniv and our youngest will turn 18 months old this coming Friday. Yup, double celebration. We are planning to have dinner or lunch at our fave resto. My hubby wants to watch his new basketball team, the Chicago Bulls live but we don’t know where to leave our kids.

Harry Potter and Half Blood Prince!

After watching the 6th movie of Harry Potter’s adventures (called Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince), I couldn’t help reread the last two books. There were a lot of plot holes (try to go to Amazon books and buy a copy if you haven’t) and you would understand what I’m talking about. But despite these plot holes, I think the movie was able to manage to adapt the book somehow. Would the lacking parts confundle the rest of the muggles? I think they did. Let us hope that the last two parts of the 7th movie would right their mistake.

Have you watched Transformers 2 yet? The action sequences surpassed the previous one and Michael Bay has done it again! He certainly has listened to his fans and gave everything what we wanted. There are more robot to robot action especially on the Decepticon parts, more funny moments, and of course, more eyecandy for their target male audience.

How can Megan Fox be so sexy? Is she reading a good slimming pills review? We may never know but I’m sure that Megan Fox must be doing something to maintain a very good shape. Exercise and eat healthy!

3. How did you feel when you first found out you were pregnant?
Surprised, shocked and scared. it was unexpected or rather, i would say it was unwanted.
4. Who did you tell first? my husband.
5. How many pounds did you gain during your first pregnancy? 50 lbs
6. What did you crave while you were pregnant? i cant remember anymore. there’s only one thing I always remember during my pregnancy… i hate the smell of anything.
7. Did you find out the gender of your first child? Why or why not? yes of course cos we want everything ready for the baby.
8. Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? yes… i bled too much during my first trimester also the reason why I quit my job.
9. How much did your first child weigh? 8.7 lbs
10. Was your first child early, late, or on time? 2 days late…
11. What is the most difficult challenge or health issue that any of your children have faced? nothing serious.
12. What’s your favorite part of being a mom? having fun with my kids and watching their milestone during infant hood… that’s my fave part ever of being a mom.

The Sims 3 came out on the first week of June and I am absolutely loving it! There are so many new features that include the cancellation of loading time because of the integration of neighborhoods and real time travel! One sim can now go to another sim’s house without suffering the annoying loading screen. More customization is also offered and your sim can be ANYBODY now.
But there are still the old lovable features like the lovable appliances. One of my favorites is the wireless alarm that can immediately detect burglars!

Well would you look at that, naughty neighbor Joe tried to get in my Sim’s house to no avail! Handy indeed!

Our beloved TV

Since we got a new PS3, we decided that we should follow that up with a new flat panel hdtv. A new TV that we could mount on the wall so we could get rid of our old TV and its tv stand to save more space. Sounds good right? The problem is we really don’t want to give up our old TV since it was a Christmas present from someone who is dear to us. We couldn’t really keep it neither if we buy a new TV because having both TV’s would take up so much space and that’s something we don’t have much of. I guess we will still end up selling the old TV because we don’t have a choice. No matter how important that thing is to us I think it’s time to move on. Time to try something new and learn to be comfortable with it like how we did with our old TV.

Hey guys, how did you spend your mother’s day? Did you give presents to your moms? and for the Moms, what kind of presents did you get?

Anyways, as for me, I spent my mother’s day with my own family. Not much of a celebration, we just had a mother’s day lunch yesterday and my hubby gave me some present like my forever fave flowers. I like all kinds of flowers except the weird ones, of course. He also bought me a new Gorillapod for my digiral camera. I’m so happy with it, that’s all I want to take pictures in different angles and perspective. Yay! I’m looking forward for a non-stop camwhoring LOL.
