I Still Love “Friends”

While I was hanging out and watching TV with my daughter the other evening, we started talking about what TV sitcoms we both liked. I remembered what I used to let her watch when she was younger, and she reminisced about her favorite cartoons. Then there were disagreements because we both recalled different programs as being the one she liked the best.

What was funny though, was that we agreed that “Friends” was the favorite sitcom of both of us when she was in her teens. I always loved Rachel and my daughter’s favorite character was Phoebe. It was nice to be able to bond over situations the characters got into. Phoebe was kind of an eccentric girl with a good heart. Just like my daughter.

I’m a little more high maintenance myself like Rachel, so that’s probably why I identified with her. She was always too hard on Ross though. And what a surprise when Chandler and Monica ended up as a couple! We always knew that Ross and Rachel would eventually get back together. Another big surprise is that Joey of all people got his own spin-off.

Since I watch my favorite sitcom “Friends” on direct tv tucson, I guess my daughter and I will be able to continue to bond for another 20 years, since it should be on somewhere in the world!

She needs your help…

While dropping Entrecards, I stumbled upon this website that needs urgent help. I feel saddened while perusing this article. I’m just trying to help this one family by spreading this sad news about their daughter named Amanda. Maybe someone out there can help, we wouldn’t know. I think upon writing this post Amanda is now recovering. Let’s pray for this young woman for her full recovery.

Amanda was a premature baby and has had lots of medical issues throughout her life. Amanda is 27 years old but has the mentality of a 2 – 3 year old. She is deaf and uses very limited sign language and some of her own signs. Additionally, Amanda got meningitis at 2 months old and needed shunts in her head to pump spinal fluid from her brain to belly. This makes it very challenging for us and the doctors to figure out what is going on once things start to go wrong. Amanda is able to tell us when something hurts, but she can’t explain the level of pain or pinpoint exactly where the pain is. Continue Reading here for the full story…

…and say hello to my new domain, FRENA.US. So why Frena? It’s a combination of the names of my two lovely daughters, Freya and Yuna. So, no further explanation to that, you know exactly why. Also, I don’t like a domain that is too long to remember and to write on a web textbox. In addition to that, I have changed the name of my blog to “My baby girls and me…” from “My daily experience…” because this blog would be obviously about the journey of my baby girls and a bit of me. My “baby girls” because they will always be my baby no matter how old they are now. But there’s no guarantee that I will stick to the topic. I know some of you know that I am so random. So, what do you think about the name of my blog? Is it catchy or what?

I also changed the header as you would notice it now and I’m still removing and weeding out all the dead links and codes in this blog since I’m still using the database from my old domain.

Anyways, I will update this blog thrice a week if I’m not stuck in FLICKR. I’m so active to that community and loving photography so much. Can’t think of any words but I just love Flickr. From my personal view, I think flickr is the best online community that I’ve ever joined. I’ve learned so much and I’m learning and still learning and meeting a lot of wonderful people around the world. So if I’m not around in this blog or any community sites, you know where to find me

By the way, I did some changes on my online storage. I have removed all my personal photos and videos in Flickr and change it to pure photography and artsy fartsy. Yay! I know today is Christmas eve in the Philippines so my seasons greetings to all my friends who live there specially to my parents and siblings. So what are you gonna do on Christmas eve? I and my family will have a small gathering. I might cook some Filipino foods and deserts. I will ask my hubby first what he wants and it should be his favorite. On the 25th day we might go out coz some of our friends here in the US invited us to eat out. So yeah, I’m kind of excited coz my daughter is excited to see what santa gave her this Christmas.

Three weeks ago I had a chance to keep in touch with my old pals in my hometown. I found their profile in Friendster. After that, I chatted with one of them. Among the others, he’s the only one that I can talk to about anything. He told me about his biggest problem that he wants to get rid of. I knew his problem since we were just college students. His problem needs some medical attention. He needs to go to a drug treatment center. The only thing that stopping him is that he’s ashamed to seek help. He’s afraid of the consequences he might get if his fiance finds out about his secrets. I told him to not be afraid and I also told him that it would get worse if he won’t confess to his fiance. Oh well, I just hope that he would have strength to do all he needs to do. I mean, its time for him to get some drug treatment.

Again, another month has passed by and its another time for me to thank many people who’s always there to support my blog even though most of my entries are nonsense hehehe. Well, to tell you all the truth, I’m trying to make my blog interesting and entertaining not just a “meme” blog. Though, I’m not sure if you really enjoyed my entries here but I’m grateful that you guys always stopped by. This is my only way of thanking you guys although giving away prices is on my head but I’m still debating about it coz I don’t want my blog to look desperate of having visitors and comments. What I want is friends… Awww drama itecth LOL.

Yup, seriously, i dont want my blog to be visited only because of glamorous prices inspite the fact that this blog is compensated and commercialized. I want this blog to be helpful to others that’s why sometimes I’m posts some tutorials and information here that you might be interested reading. See? I’m trying… who’s forcing me anyways? and who cares? hahahaha. My new Havaianas!

Hello guys, I’m writing this entry to take the opportunity of thanking my friend Sis Ann or better know as Anneke. She used to blog but stopped to concentrate on her job and on her own business. I know most of my blogmates know her. She was the owner of oh-bebe.net before, and now she owns Vivi Girl Shop, a collection of cute and very nice fashion items.

A week ago I browsed her online shop and then I spotted the Havaianas flipflops. I love flipflops specially ones made by Havaianas. I was so surprised to see that the price is lower than other sellers so I ordered this item…
