While doing my online responsibilities, I found myself staring at my computer desk. I’ve been using the same desk for years now and up to now it’s doing pretty well. Aside from a few scuffs and occasional tightening of some screws, the desk still serves its purpose. The best part about this desk is that I got it for free. It was given to me by a friend who can be best described as an “alley kicker”. An “alley kicker” is someone who picks up junk or unwanted stuff from an alley. Anyhow, this friend of mine have picked up a lot of pretty cool things like radios, dvd players, computers and most of all computer desks. I don’t know if he’s obsessed with his desks but I think he had like five of them at one time.
Anyway, through this story and the desk I’m staring at I just realized that just like my friend I too am a resourceful person because if not I could have wasted money and bought a brand new desk. See? Being resourceful is extremely useful hehehehe…

yes! i definitely agree with you ate Scart! it’s better if we take care of our things so that we won’t need to change and change them that easily. it’s also helping us to be thrifty at the same time.
