Theme for first birthday!

Our little Freya will turn 1 year old two weeks from now. I don’t really bother myself planning a big celebration on her 1st birthday. First is because we are not expecting many visitors. We have few friends here and that’s it. Last thing, we are miles away from our families and relatives. Actually, my first plan is to give her a mini picnic party since we live near the Lake which is really popular here in Chicago that some people call it beach. The thing is, like I said, we don’t have close family here that can help us set up all the stuff that’s needed for the birthday party. Like for example who’s gonna cook? Who’s gonna buy this and that? Who’s gonna set up the chairs and tables? I don’t think I can do that by myself with a kid and a baby. It sounds stressful to me. My husband does not want to bother other people that’s the way he is. He doesn’t   want to bug other people even how close they are. Anyways, when I plan the picnic settings, I wanted to have “1st Birthday Diva party” as a theme and I plan to get it here. Cute eh? But that’s OK. There’s always a next time.

So I and my hubby decided to have our little Freya’s 1st birthday at Chuck e. cheese where kid can be a kid hehehe. It’s better that way coz we don’t need to worry about everything. All we need to do is relax and enjoy watching our kids have fun. The services rate are not bad, reasonable to make a reservation and speaking of reservation, I’m gonna do that tomorrow morning. Although we don’t have a fabulous party for Freya I know she will still cherrish it when she grows up. What matters most is that we are complete to celebrate her birthday.
