My 32nd birthday…

Last May 29 was my birthday. Another year to spend with my family and like my mom said I should be thankful for that, I am.

I actually don’t celebrate my birthday even since I was a teenager. I don’t even cook something special for my birthday or eat out. But my hubby always tells me that I should celebrate my birthday. He said that it only happens once a year and who knows next year maybe I can no longer celebrate it. He even keeps bugging me what kind of gift I want for my birthday.  I told him I don’t want any gifts right now… I told him I want something but not for myself. I want something that I can give to my sibling in the Philippines, something they can do for a living. Actually, I told him about it months ago and I’m glad he agreed.

Well, to answer your curiosity on how I spent my birthday. It was simple and lots of fun, of course Midnight of my birthday my hubby came home from work with a dozen of red roses. He is always like that, I mean always have something to give to his family every occasion. Although I prefer birthday cards than flowers still, I feel very happy and special to him. Thank you so much Luvski The next day, we went out to have lunch at the restaurant that we haven’t tried yet. The restaurant is just around the neighborhood. Every time we passed by at this restaurant we always talk about it and always curious about what the food is like. Unfortunately, according to my hubby, it taste blah! If you ask me, I don’t really care It’s fine with me as long as it doesn’t taste very awful but my hubby does not want to eat there again.

My only wish for my 32nd birthday is to have my papers done so I can start working. There’s lots of opportunities waiting for me I just can’t start because I’m not yet eligible to work. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy being at a stay-at-home-mom but I need to work. I want to help my other half.
