This post is more than a week due. I’m supposed to blog about it right after the field trip but since I’m a do-it-later person, it’s almost 2 weeks late now. Just want to share how I enjoyed being an active parent in my daughter’s school. I’m enjoying this privilege given to us as a parent of their students. They have lots of free programs like workshops and this, field trips. Last June 4th was our 2nd Parent Field Trip. We went to the Museum of Science & Industry and I was so gleefully amazed like a little girl to see all the space crafts they’ve used to travel in space. I also experienced their Omnimax theater — The Omnimax Theater’s dome-shaped screening room is housed inside the Henry Crown Space Center building. The Center is connected by walkways to the U-505 Submarine exhibit, the Smart House exhibit, and the main building of the Museum. I would say that’s my favorite part. It’s really unique!
I would like to go back their with the whole family. I’m sure my kids would love the place especially my 6-yr old girl. Oh gawd! She really loves planets, stars, milky way and anything about space. You can also find all the old cars in there including racing cars. We actually plan on going there the last time my hubby had a day off but since I don’t want my daughter to miss school, we decided to cancel it. It would’ve been great because the admission is free. Oh well, there’s lots of time to go. The museum is just one ride away
Anyways, just take a peek to all the pictures I’ve posted here so you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about the museum and more pictures here just click this —-> Museum of Science & Industry.

Grabe buti pa dyan ate at ganyan!! hhehee. I don’t recall my mum accompanying me in any field trip XD hahaha
This was a parent only field trip tiff. I did not accompany my daughter
ah yah! Pero gagamitin ko ung netbook mainly for coding and easy transport. Ang bigat talaga ng macbook ko kaya mas okay na netbook nalang. Plus imma install Linux rin doon para cool XD hhahaa. Mura na siya for a netbook, mahal kasi mga netbooks rin ngayon. Ipad nalang! HHAHAA XD
That’s a great idea of the school to bring the parents around for a field trip. It’s both educative and informative. Sure, your kids will love to be there. Oh, I wish I could see those space crafts too, even in a museum.
ohw..the place is soooo cool sis! i hope I can visit that place someday too. hehehe..
