Halloween is coming and have you chosen a Halloween Costumes yet? Last year, It was my daughters first time to dress up on Halloween where she dressed as a witch and this year it’s her first trick or treat here in the US. I want her to wear something different, something cute and elegant. So, for this year we chose this Halloween costume. The Sparkling Spiderella costume is really what Halloween is all about. Unlike those costumes taken from fairy tale stories which I think misleads the meaning of Halloween, this costume is the right theme for the event. Besides, ever since I was never a big fan of fairy tale costumes because there is nothing scary about them although I must say that they look cute on little kids.

Wedding Bands

Before Luvski and I got married, it took as a while to find the right wedding bands. We looked online and checked out a lot of nearby stores. Most of the stores near us have very expensive rings. Those with big diamonds and thick gold, ones that we can not afford for now. We searched until we arrived in a Chinese jewelry store. They sold different kinds of rings. We finally settled for a simple white gold ring. Not expensive but not cheesy looking. Oh well, the ring itself is not important. What’s more important is what it symbolizes.

Closed Captioning

Since I watch a lot of Korean, Japanese, Thai and other foreign films, I have gotten used to movies with closed captioning or commonly known as subtitles. Even if I watch English films, I feel that I am not contented with out the subtitles. Maybe I feel that way because I want to make sure that I understand all the dialogs and I’m not missing any good part of the movie I’m watching. It’s a good thing that most DVD movies right now have this option.

Morph Yourself!

I’ve downloaded a new software tonight and it’s used for morphing images. First, I was searching the internet for a software that I can use to animate some images that I have in my computer. I wanted something not too complicated. Something simple. A software that has a lot of built-in effects. Then, I saw this software called the Morpheus Photo-Morpher. It’s purpose is to morph an image to a another completely different image. If you’re creative enough, you can definitely make a cool and realistic morphing animation. The software is user friendly and very easy to use. To create a simple animation all you have to do is to load the images you want to morph then add dots to the key features of each image using the “add dots” tool. One thing you have to remember is that the more dots you add, the more realistic your animation would be. Use this software to make cool avatars for community forums, animated photos for your profile page or even insert a short animation to a movie project. All these can be done because you can save a project in many different file extensions including .swf, .gif, .avi and many more. I made an example using this program it’s not that good coz I crop the image into a small resolution.
